Leftover Gift Cards

I have a drawer full of gift cards. Unused, and losing $1.95 a month in service fees.

We got a million gift cards for our wedding, and I just don't want to spend them! What if I don't get the perfect item? What if I use it and then something new and amazing comes out the next week?

The thing is, honestly, the gift cards are to stores I would never shop in because they're so expensive. Even though it's technically "free," I still feel like I'm getting ripped off!

It's time to take a deep breath, let go, and go on a shopping spree!

Go for it! Get something really special for yourself or your home! :) When my husband and I married, we received several gift certificates from the department store where we registered. (I don't know why they weren't cards; I'm thinking that in the mid-90s the cards must not have beeen the norm yet.) Anyway, we misplaced them!!! My hubby was very annoyed with me. One day when our kids were younger, we found them, so I took them to the store and bought clothes for my children!

You know what, Sharon? After your comment, I went on an online shopping spree with those gift cards =D. Thanks for the encouragement -- I got something I never would've sprung for (an attachment for my Kitchenaid mixer).
