Reading Vocabulary

I encourage the girls to use their vocabulary words in sentences each week, but they're always written. This week I was doing something in the kitchen and asked them to read their sentences out loud.

"Are pyre and harbor cinnamons?" (Translation: "Are pier and harbor synonyms?")

"How much should you tithy?" (Translation: "How much should you tithe?")

"I wouldn't want to sing my hair." (Translation: "I wouldn't want to singe my hair.")

"I've never heard of an o minus before." (Translation: "I've never heard of ominous before.")

I think we'll be reading our vocabulary lists out loud at the beginning of each week from now on.
